I'm Megan—founder of The Wee Thistle Sleep Consultant, a qualified teacher, certified infant sleep consultant, and, most importantly, a mum to a wonderful little girl who opened my eyes to just how challenging sleep can be in those early years.
My Story
When I became a mum to my little girl, I was overjoyed… and also completely unprepared for the sleepless nights that followed.
No one tells you just how intense the exhaustion can be—or how quickly it begins to affect everything.
I found myself stressed, emotional, and struggling to be the mum I wanted to be.
And when I reached out for help, I was overwhelmed by conflicting advice. Nothing seemed to work.
Desperate for answers, I found myself lost in a sea of conflicting advice. It was only when I began to truly study infant sleep—drawing on both evidence-based approaches and my background in education—that things began to shift.
Why I became a sleep consultant
Twelve years on, with both personal and professional insight, I became a certified infant sleep consultant—so I could support other families who are right where I once was.
